This is every girl's dream! getting married? Done that...diamond ring-- if u haven't seen it in my blog, it must be coz u are blind..or mayb coz it's too small?haha....ok..wat other dreams? *drum roll*...it's a walkin closet of course!!....though it's a small one..but I'm satisfied! =)

Twinkle twinkle little stars

Our Tbee console wall is up. It's a unique textured wall....which glittered under light. Now we can star gaze at the comfort of our home! how romantic! oh take a look at the lightings too...it's all up (except the dining --yet to purchase, and kitchen lights) The console is supposed to have a black glass...however, only today did the worker come and measure!!!! champion! to think we thought the factory has already cut the glass! Disappointed with our ID man. The white paneling which you see has stainless steel strips...very classy!

Remember the very ugly piping of our common bathroom? well, check it out now....(the piping is still ugly la...brainless people painted it white instead of beige to match the tiles) we love the taps and shower mixers...so classy! n check out the peekaboo sliding door (u probably can't see it fm the picture, but it's a kinky number!)

6 Star Toilet!

Been very frustrated since the last post. Reason being our ID keep promising on the handover, but it never happened. Supposedly, we were suppose to get the finished product by 20 April....but check out the date! To date, there are still things outstanding! small things like the cabinet handles..mirrors...TV console...N if we didn't remind him about the plumbing, i think we would not have a WC to shit in! Best part was, we thought all were arranged nicely, buttttttttt.....seemed like his commercial projects were more important. Since 20 April, each wk, we saw only one item done! Imagine, one wk one part done! that's a little ridiculous dont u think?! anyway, here are some pictures of our 6 star toilet. My favourite part of the house! Pay close attention to the salad bowl basin....so clean..so nice!! n the rainshower...gosh...are we dreaming??

Go Harvey Go Harvey Norman Go!

Today is Good Friday...it's indeed a good start coz I finally got enough sleep! After getting up at 1pm, dearest and I went to the Harvey Norman Warehouse sale @ Benoi Road. Went all the way there but wasn't too bowled over by what they had. Fortunately it wasn't all a wasted trip coz we bought ourselves a PHONE for our love nest! A motorola one! Super Chio!..black stylish designer phone!! Later we went to IMM too..gosh that place sure changed lots. I recalled the last I went there was during NUS days where we had to go there for major exams!! now, there's even Mac Donalds, Soo kee...Watsons..Giant etc etc there!!! wooo..super sua ku!. saw several toilet fittings and quite tempted to buy the WC...white American standard one costs $248...SIMs selling a white Dahil one for $174...hmm....tough choice..but think we'll look around first.

Mirror mirror on the wall

We went to our home sweet home today and was pleasantly surprised that the mirrors are up!!!! Lovely. at least there's something pleasing to see. Was particularly disappointed when I was told that I cannot have tat concrete feel in my kitchen. I think contractors in Singapore are just not too well versed in cement screeding. Our contractor tried, but the effect wasn't dark grey enough. N the ID said the lines of the wall tiles could be seen (coz we didn't hack) thus we should paint over it instead of doing the screeding. I m still coming to terms with that coz I was hoping to buy a matching greyish fridge and washing machine. okok...enuff of that...check out the pictures of my house. Dark brown mirror to make the hall look bigger and a glass divider in the toilet..think i'll be spending a lot of time soaking in the bath! CHeck out also the wall of the balcony. not exactly what i've envisioned, but i think when everything is pieced together, i should be able to get a resort feel for my balcony. Ohhh lastly, U'd see the ugly pipings of my common bathroom. what an eyesore!

Left eye twitch

Couple of things happened since two days ago. Left eye been twitching for some reason..medically, people say it's due to stress (perhaps perhaps)...old wives say it's due to an impending storm. well, i seriously hope not!! Anyway, 2 days back, bought a body scrub from Watsons....lesson number one learnt--- DONT BE A CHEAPSKATE n buy things from watsons!.....coz for the last two days after using it..i've been itching on my arms! for some strange reason, only my arms! Mayb my arms smart, knows how to differentiate expensive stuff from the cheapo stuff. I'm freaking out as I type..certainly hope it's not the pox. Going for a checkup n vaccine tmw. Lesson number 2: Better be safe than sorry. THe renovation of the house is moving on SLOWLY....must really push contractors else they really take for granted and take their sweet time. Painting suppose to start this wk.......soon will have to buy the WC, sink , taps etc etc...= more outflow. Oh well, it's part and parcel of life i guess. Honestly it's pretty exciting to be planning and doing things together. Hope everything goes well...Lao gong is coming back tmw!! YEAH!
